My folks live within a couple of miles of the Texas Motor Speedway. This is one of the largest sports facilities in Texas and on race weekends, traffic stretches for miles in every direction. I went out to capture some of the scene, and had quite the cultural experience. There were dozens of booths that were about a half acre in size, including the Army’s, which I got a special kick out of.
Whether more beer or more racing fuel is consumed on these weekends is an intersting question. I would assume the answer is about the same, and is a whole bunch.
